Her: So, you want to go to medical school?
Me: I have no idea. That’s why I’m here.
That’s pretty much how our entire conversation went today. There was a bunch of silence in between her line and my line. She handed me a packet titled, “Establishing A Pre-Medical File”. After looking at the required classes for a concentration in pre-med, my head started to hurt. That’s not a joke. Biochemistry? Organic Chemistry? Really? I cannot do math. I cannot do Biochemistry. I cannot do any of that. It’s not having a negative attitude about it either, I am being completely realistic. Intelligent people go to medical school, clever people go to medical school, sharp, bright people go to medical school. People like me don’t go to medical school. That’s just how things work.
I am back to square one, which is probably right where I’m suppose to be.
brilliant people do more than math and chemistry…they write fun tumblr posts for one, they are real and relevant, and they enjoy life. all i’m saying is don’t sell yourself short. and as far as “where you’re supposed to be,” i’m feeling that you should listen to The Dangerous Summer’s “Where I Want To Be.” (if you can find the acoustic version hit that up, just cause you can feel it…you know) anyway, just thought you sounded like you could use something.
